Urlife

Urlife offer a suite of services where everyone’s camera roll gets the Hollywood treatment. Users send their mass amounts of photos/video clips to their secure end-to-end platform. Editors sort, enhance, and curate to produce a range of high quality video options. Delighting the end user with a valued memory that is easily retrievable and shareable. 

 We were tasked to provide Urlife with  UX recommendations  and  revised designs  for ‘Version 2’ of their mobile app and marketing page.   Customer pain points from ‘Version 1’   • Technical problems: the app didn’t work, no clear UX. Frustrating. •

Customer pain points from ‘Version 1’
• Technical problems: the app didn’t work, no clear UX. Frustrating.
• There was never a real marketing or public launch: the theory was “if you build it, they will come.”
• There was no selling - it was just, “choose your package and pay now.”
• The time commitment and the collaboration became a barrier - led people to abort

 My role in this project was to provide UX strategy and design for Version 2 of the app and marketing site. The other members of my team included an Account Manager, Project Manager and Art Director.

5. Select media to upload
6. Leave “Director’s notes” or organise phone call
7. Submit
8. Pay (enter discount or promo code)
9. Have the ability to add additional media if they forgot something
10. Receive confirmation that all media has been received
11. Messaging: how many files were uploaded, how many successful uploaded and other edge cases
12. Receive email from Producer to schedule time to give Director’s notes

14. Notification that product has been delivered to user account
